The MDD3000T transformer monitoring units, hereinafter refer as MDD3000T TMU, is based on the IEC61850 standard protocol, fault diagnosis technology, automatically online collect the information like the power transformer load and temperature, core grounding current, oil micro water, partial discharge, the status information of the cooler and on-load tap-changer, adopt a comprehensive fault diagnosis model and combine with the structural characteristics of the transformer and parameters, history operation records, environmental factors, assessment of the working state and remaining life of the power transformer. Analysis, judgment, and forecast of faults that have occurred, are occurring or may occur, and clarify the nature, type, extent to avoid the occurrence of power transformer accidents and to ensure the safety, reliability, and normal operation of equipment.
